Lani and Alex’s wedding was a special one. I’m a big fan of small intimate gatherings and that’s exactly what their day consisted of.
Alex is part of the NZ army, deciding on their current home – Burnham Military Camp – as the location for their wedding, news of his deployment brought wedding plans forward!
As I got to know Lani and Alex as a couple, I learned that they are truly amazing humans with a lot of love for each other and their five year old son, Luca, whose presence was also a big part of their day.
The ceremony held at the Burnham Chapel was beautiful and intimate with their family and closest friends being present in every moment and hanging on to every word. Guests had travelled far and wide with a few even coming all the way from Alex’s home country of Brazil. As the day drew on, the clouds opened up and the sun shone during the outdoor setting by the Officers Mess, which is exactly what Lani and Alex could have hoped for. Not only that, but we were blessed with a stunning sunset to top things off.
Thank you again you two, a truly unforgettable day xx
