Renee + Helaman

I first met Renee and Helaman a few years ago during a family shoot for their adorable little boy. They were such a lovely couple, I was struck by their warmth and love for each other. During our session, Renee shared that her wedding day didn’t go as planned – to say the least, and wished she could do a re-do, which stuck with me.

Every winter, I like to do a creative shoot that feeds my soul and reignites my passion for photography. This year, I reached out to Renee and Helaman to see if they’d be interested in a styled shoot as bride and groom again. They were beyond happy to be on board!

With the help of Bailey from B’s Beauty Hub for hair and makeup, Gown and Alter with the amazing gown, and Floral Harvest for stunning floral arrangements, we created a beautiful aesthetic. We explored Rooftop City, capturing their love in unexpected locations, playing with shadows and light- my fav.

The goal was to give them new memories and beautiful photos to display at home. Here’s to love and second chances!
